Three Easy Steps to get your CDL with Winsor’s Driving School
Enroll
Call and schedule a tour of the school and we will answer any questions you have as well as show you our campus and give you all the details on our packages. We only need the student to pay a deposit to start the training and then we can discuss a payment plan for the balance. New classes start every Monday. We can have you start right away after signing up no need to wait ever!
Permit
Every student needs to pass written exams at MVC to obtain a Commercial Learner's Permit.Students can learn how to pass the permit exam through our classroom training. The classroom training can be provided in person or online. Some students need help to pass the written exam, Students have the choice to study on their own and pass the exam and come to us for the Road Test Training only if they feel comfortable doing that as well. When you come in for a Tour we can hand you a FREE CDL Manual to have you start studying if you choose to. Once obtaining your CDL Permit you will be eligible to go for your Road Test.
Road Test
Once obtaining your permit you will be eligible for the road test. The Road test is held at a NJ MVC. The test consists of three parts - 1. Pretrip Inspection, 2. Parking Maneuvers. 3. Road Driving. Once a Student passes all those three sections of the test they will obtain a CDL. We provide all the training necessary to pass the road test. We have courses that can Guarantee you to pass your CDL Road test. Types Of CDL

Tractor Trailer
CLASS A
CDLA CDL Class A Vehical is one that weighs more than 26,000 lbs. and has a trailer that weighs more than 10,000 lbs. An Example is a Tractor Trailer. Once someone has a CDL Class A license then they can also drive any class B Vehicles.
Box
CLASS B
CDLCDL Class B vehicles are defined as any vehicle that weighs more than 26,000 lbs.and has no trailer or if there is a trailer it must weigh less than 10,000 lbs. Some examples are box trucks, dump trucks, garbage truck, and cement truck just to name a few.
Bus
CLASS B + P
CDLA CDL Class B + P Vehicle is one that weighs more than 26,000 lbs. and has a carrier with 16 or more passengers. An Example is a Passenger Buss. Once someone has a CDL Class B + P license then they can also drive any class B Vehicles.
