Winsor started as a passion project of our founders. He was a transportation industry veteran and she was a detail oriented economist/entrepreneur. They had keen insight into the acute shortage of skilled commercial drivers in the market and pooled their resources. knowing that the lucrative commercial driver job was the perfect career for most adults looking for a stable job.
Deciding to bridge the need gap and Winsor’s was born in 1995. Carefully putting together a course that would be short, highly relevant, and in sync with the industry needs. Such an approach would guarantee a job for the graduating student and a swift hiring process for the companies. A true win-win.
